We are a real estate business representing properties on Fishers Island, NY.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We have disabled any features related to account creation, comments, and uploads, and as such do not collect information such as names, emails, and phone numbers unless that information is explicitly sent to us through our Constant Contact email signup form, or by emailing our agents directly from their profiles.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.  These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Our site may track IP addresses to monitor traffic.  Information such as what pages are visited, how long they are visited for, what links are clicked, and the IP addresses performing these actions are recorded for our analytics.  The information can tell us the general location of your internet service provider, but we only use this to see what countries and states our visitors are coming from, and we cannot identify who you are through this.

Who we share your data with

We monitor our own analytics and the only people with access to this information are the company owners and website administrator.  We do not share or sell this information.

If you sign up for the Constant Contact email list, this information you submit is subject to their own privacy policy, available here.  We retain your submitted contact information for the purposes of contacting you for news, offers, and communication, but we do not share or sell this information to any other parties.

How long we retain your data

Analytics data containing your IP address and contact information sent through Constant Contact is retained indefinitely.

What rights you have over your data

We cannot remove IP addresses from our analytics because we have no way of knowing who they belong to.

If you wish to have your Constant Contact information removed, you can email us and we will delete the entry from our database.  You can also request what information we have on file for you.  This must be done using the email you used to sign up for Constant Contact.  We will not give this information out to any other address as this could be used to breach your privacy.

Where we send your data

If you email us directly with contact information and make it clear that you’d like to receive additional communication, you will be added to the Constant Contact list.  Website visits are tracked through Google Analytics and built in WordPress tools.  We do not send data anywhere else.
